Breakfast, Agar Jelly and Dinner, Agar Salad

It’s been five years since I started to work at company. As I got used to my work, my body changed for the worse. My weight used to be over 50kg. I was apt to live in irregular life because I lived alone and my work was extremely busy. For example, my daily foods were mainly greasy and high calorie.
One day, I was waiting in the coffee shop to meet old friend. She did not change her appearance since then. However, her first statement shocked me heavily.

Friend: “You’ve grown fat! What happend to you?”
Even though I was self-aware that I gained weight these few years, I was doubly shocked when my friend pointed it out. When I got depressed over it, she said to me “Do not worry, you can easily reduce weight 5-6kg” and recommended Agar Diet.
Note: Kanten (Agar) diet has been become huge boom in Japan after TV programs reported that seaweed gelatine is an ideal diet food.
I already knew about Agar diet because it was in a boom but I did not consider tying it myself. On the way I went home, I purchased powder agar and a recipe book at the shop and started to try cooking it that night. My first recipe was plain jelly putting honey on the top. At first, I was skeptical whether it really works or not. But, I kept telling myself that continuing was important.
As a breakfast, I took fruit jelly. And at night time, I ate salad with agar half hour before dinner. Within 1 weeks, I felt the change in my body. My constipation stopped and I feel refreshed every morning.
Half years later, my weight dropped from 53kg to 48kg. I am thankful to my friend very much.
