Agar Diet Principles

As you might have read from previous page, you need to consider two factors to lose weight. First is to reduce calorie intake and second is to increase calorie burn. We list the diet principles you should try based on our various studies. These principles can be carried out everyday by anyone.

Principles to reduce calorie intake

  1. Eat agar jelly 30 minutes prior to dinner
  2. Eat agar (jelly, powder whatever) with breakfast
  3. Do not eat anything 2 hours before going to bed
  4. Eat a big breakfast but a small dinner
  5. Count your calorie intake and eat only low-calorie foods
  6. Never eat between meals (ie. snacks, fruits etc)
  7. Minimize taking sugar and oil
  8. Do not drink soft-drink and alcohol

If you live alone, it is easier to control your meals. However, if you live with your family, you may sometimes need to ask for support from your family. It is because your family may already have a certain eating habits which cause obesity. For example, if you find snacks or fruits on the table or the shelf all day, then ask the person who is responsible not to leave there. It is very hard to lose weight if there are foods in front of you.

If you carry out above principles, you most likely feel hungry sometimes. Therefore, it is important to take dietary fiber (ie. agar) to feel full. If you have time, it is recommended to eat cooked jelly rather than raw agar. Jelly is slightly more effective than eating directly in terms of feeling sense of fullness. Principles to increase calorie burn

  1. Walk 30 minutes at least everyday
  2. Use stairs instead of elevator
  3. Dumbbell training few days a week

It is up to you what exercise you do as long as you can do everyday such as jogging, swiming, aerobics etc. It is also recommended to train your muscle such as using dumbbell because muscle consumes lots of energy.

If you can’t walk everyday, then let’s think of it this way. When you go to work and come home from work by train or bus, get off 1 or 2 stations before you normally get off. Then, you can create 30 minutes extra walk easily.
